Built from the ground up to appeal to architects and designers alike, ideasbuilt.ca is a formidable example of design purity.

The design is centred around the juxtaposed natural and fabricated structures and the translucent interplay of the navigation system in the header of the interface.

This innovative use of 24-bit transparent PNG backgrounds, the Suckerfish CSS-powered list, a dash of Scriptaculous and some brilliant DOM scripting by Andrew Tetlaw produced something quite spectacular. Thanks to the great work done by the IE7 team at Microsoft, some of these stunning design effects are now within reach for web designers everywhere.
