Vintage Plastic Radio
Searching through an antique shop in Orillia, Ontario some years ago, I found this plastic faux alligator skin radio that had a very powerful object presence.
I am always confused and fascinated by things that are designed to look like they are made of something that they are not. And yet veneer of just about every description is all around us everywhere we look.
So I’m not really sure why I like this snapshot so much, but I sure had fun playing with it in Photoshop®.
