Sometimes a fleeting image catches your attention for a moment with a message that seems strangely relevant at that particular moment in time. Then as quickly as it had appeared, it is gone.
I once read an article about Johnny Depp who confessed that his intuition would sometimes tell him to turn around and walk around a lamp post that he had just passed moments ago. I’m inclined to agree with Depp that we should act on our gut instinct more often.
I think that these things we see or feel are (in the words of Tom Brown Jr.), a sign of the passing of some larger force, some more complex pattern, something within my perception but beyond my complete understanding.
