Electric Toy Train Transformer
The old toys of yesteryear have a special sort of permanence to them that their modern day plastic equivalents do not. I’m not sure if it is how they were made or what they were made of that is so appealing.
This is a shot of an old transformer that was part of an American Flyer electric toy train set that belonged to my uncle. The immensely popular American Flyer trains were made by the Lionel Corporation who have been making children’s dreams come true since 1900.
