Active Lifestyle Figures
As part of a branding strategy for a multi-disciplinary health care facility, the objective of this project was to create a friendly, upbeat, family-oriented image of people enjoying the benefits of an active lifestyle.
The elements of the illustration could easily be repurposed for anything from interior decor motifs to print and web-based promotional materials.
As with any consistent design, it is key to develop a visual language which brings cohesiveness and unity to the elements. For example, the bold and vigorous brush strokes which create each of the figures help to communicate strength and vitality, which is further emphasized with the lively splashes of bright colour in the background.
Fit and finish is as much about consistency as it is about execution of technique and sensitivity of the materials used.
